News: Mah Sing To Unveil 9.62 Acres Summit Park In March 2020 At Southville City

Mah Sing Group Berhad (Mah Sing) is planning to unveil its very first Community-Friendly Recreational Park, Summit Park – scheduled in March 2020 at Southville City, KL South, its largest township development in Klang Valley.

This 9.62 acres park, which acts as a ‘Green Sanctuary’ is deemed as one of the pioneer public park playground in Malaysia that complies with the international safety standards certified by the Playground Safety Association of Malaysia (PSAM).

Mah Sing’s Founder and Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “The Summit Park, which is scheduled for its official unveiling in March 2020 is not only limited to residents of our Southville City alone but is welcomed for the public to enjoy as well. This reinforces our renewed commitment to continue giving back to the surrounding community. The completion of the Summit Park is also timely to cater to the growing population within the vicinity as it straddles across matured neighbourhoods such as Bangi, Kajang, Nilai, Seremban, Semenyih, Dengkil, and Sepang.”

“I am delighted that Summit Park is recognised by the Majlis Perbandaran Sepang (MPS) as a reference point for one of the public parks in Malaysia, which complies with the international safety standards, promoting children’s rights to play in a safe environment as it serves as an important role in children’s healthy development. In addition, safety compliance will increase the public’s awareness in the aspects of children’s playground safety and design,” added Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum.

The Summit Park is equipped with covered and open picnic areas furnished to offer al-fresco dining experience scattered throughout the park. The playground area, considered as one of the largest public park playground in the state, spans over 800 square metre area. There are also meditation area and over 20 different outdoor gyms & par-course facilities equipped for outdoor workout and meditation sessions.

Subsequently, ‘Summit View Point’ – dubbed as the highest accessible area of the park, will offer a panoramic view overlooking the whole park. All spaces are linked with approximately 1.2-km looped pedestrian circulation for strolling, jogging & cycling activities throughout the park indulged and fused with planting elements to create a harmonious and balanced experience.

Among the key facilities include – Walkway / Bicycle Lane; Pavilion; Playground; Picnic Area; The Pinnacle; Multipurpose Lawn; Meditation Area; Summit View Point; Outdoor Fitness Station; Reflexology Walk; Bicycle Rack; Public Toilet; Public Parking Lots.
